Cresson, PA - Women's Soccer hosted the Westminster College Titans on day one of the fall season. The Mounties tied 1-1 with the Titans, despite being out-shot 12 to 4 by Westminster.

The Mounties struck early, wasting no time as they found the back of the net just three minutes into the game to take a quick 1-0 lead. The early goal set the tone as Mount Aloysius applied pressure throughout the opening stretch.

However, Westminster responded later in the first half with the equalizer, leveling the match at 1-1. Both sides created chances in the second half, but neither team was able to break through.

The Mounties goal came from Maggie Cason (Spotsylvania, Va., Riverbend), who had an easy tap in off a corner kick from fellow teammate Natalie Despot (Hollidaysburg, Pa., Hollidaysburg).

1st year Head Coach Tyler Sisler will look for win #1 tomorrow versus his alma mater, the Waynesburg Yellowjackets. The game is slated for a 6 PM start at Kelly Field.
