Cresson, PA - September 22, 2025 - The Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) has announced its Athletes of the Week selections in the sports of men's & women's soccer, cross country, women's volleyball, and women's tennis for the period running from September 15-21, 2025.

On the Men's Soccer side, Junior Tanner Polcyn (Watsontown, Pa., Warrior Run) was named the AMCC Offensive Player of the Week and fellow teammate and Junior Martin Donner (Stockholm, Sweden, Danderyds Gymnasium Studievagl) was named the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week.

Polcyn helped the Mounties go 2-0 versus PAC opponents this past week. Polcyn scored the game-winning goal in the opening minute of a 3-0 win over Westminster on Wednesday, and scored the game-opening goal in a 4-1 Mountie victory on Saturday over Washington & Jefferson. With the two goals this week, Polcyn now has three goals on the year which is a season-high. The junior previously had a career-high of two goals his freshman year.

Donner led the Mounties to a 2-0 week from his center back position. Donner led a defense that allowed only one goal and seven shots on goal over the course of the two games. The Mounties started out the week by shutting out Westminster 3-0, then followed that up with a 4-1 win over W&J.

The Mounties have now took home both awards in two of the four weeks so far (Terricabris & Prats - Week 1). 

With the 2-0 week for the Mounties (6-2), it officially concludes non-conference play. The open up AMCC play this Saturday as they host the Hilbert College Hawks at 3:30 PM at Kelly Field.
