The Mounties came out with good energy and stayed competitive through the opening minutes, despite scoring 34 points in the first half. However, Pitt-Greensburg's offensive efficiency began to take control as the Bobcats carried a 54-34 advantage into halftime and pulled away in the second half behind sharp shooting and balanced scoring.
Mount Aloysius was led offensively by Ignacio Nascimento-Zschaeck (Barcelona, Spain, Springfield Commonwealth Academy (Mass.), who paced the Mounties with 12 points off the bench while going 4-of-7 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 at the free-throw line.
