He led the Mountie Men's Soccer team to their second consecutive AMCC Championship and third overall, in 2022. In 2021, he led the Mounties to their second AMCC Championship in program history, in just his first year as a head coach. He spent the 2018 season as the Associate Head Soccer Coach for the men's and women's soccer programs, after being promoted during the summer of 2018. In his first season as Associate Head Coach in 2018, Hutchinson helped the men's program win 15 games and advance to the AMCC Playoff semifinals. On the women's side, the team advanced to the AMCC Championship Game for the first time in program history and won a program record 14 games. Hutchinson previously spent two seasons as assistant coach for the men's program at Mount Aloysius.
