Patrick Gully enters his second season as head coach of the Mount Aloysius College baseball program in the spring of 2027 after being named the Mounties' head coach prior to the 2026 season.

In his first season at the helm, Gully guided the Mounties to a 15-26 overall record and an appearance in the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Tournament. Mount Aloysius earned a first-round playoff victory over No. 4 seed Alfred State, marking the program's first postseason win under Gully. During his inaugural campaign, Gully also played a key role in the development of Tyler Alexander, who emerged as one of the conference's top players and earned First Team All-AMCC honors.

A Mount Aloysius alumnus, Gully returned to his alma mater in August 2017 as an assistant coach under longtime head coach Kevin Kime, now the College's Director of Athletics. During his nine seasons as an assistant, Gully helped mentor numerous All-AMCC performers while contributing to the continued success and growth of the Mounties program before taking over as head coach.

As a student-athlete, Gully was a four-year starting catcher for the Mounties from 2012-15. A member of one of the most successful senior classes in program history, he helped lead Mount Aloysius to 87 victories, four appearances in the AMCC Tournament semifinals, and a trip to the conference championship game.

A 2013 Second Team All-AMCC selection, Gully was recognized as one of the conference's top defensive catchers. He threw out 33 percent of opposing base stealers and committed just 10 errors in 147 career games behind the plate.
