Mount Aloysius College Athletics

Courtney Vought enters her third season as head coach of the Mount Aloysius College women's lacrosse program in 2027 after being named the Mounties' head coach prior to the 2025 season.

In just two seasons at the helm, Vought has quickly elevated the Mounties into one of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference's top programs. In her first season, she guided Mount Aloysius to an appearance in the AMCC Championship game. She followed that by leading the Mounties back to the conference semifinals in 2026 while coaching a program-record six student-athletes to All-AMCC honors. Under Vought's guidance, Cassidy Cook developed into one of the conference's premier players and one of the most decorated student-athletes in program history, earning multiple postseason honors while leading the Mounties' offensive attack.

A Mount Aloysius alumna, Vought was a standout two-sport student-athlete for the Mounties, competing in both women's lacrosse and women's soccer. A four-year member of the lacrosse program from its inaugural season in 2020 through 2024, she started 45 career games and capped her collegiate career by earning AMCC Defensive Player of the Year honors and First Team All-AMCC recognition in 2024 after previously earning First Team All-United East honors in 2023. She also earned First Team All-NEAC honors during the program's inaugural conference season in 2021.

Vought also competed for the Mount Aloysius women's soccer program, further demonstrating her versatility and commitment as a two-sport student-athlete. She graduated from Mount Aloysius College with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and has made a seamless transition from standout student-athlete to head coach, continuing to build a competitive, student-centered culture for the Mounties.
