Williamsport, PA- The Mount Aloysius Women's Tennis team picked up its 10th win of the year on Friday as they defeated Lycoming 9-0.
The Mounties won both doubles matches contested, with new pairings for the weekend. Freshmen
Chloe Love and
Payton Whysong played in the first pairing. They won a hard fought match that went to an extra game, with the score finishing 9-7. Katelynn Aronld moved into the second pairing with
Leah Stoehr. They were able to defeat their opponents 8-4.
In singles play, Whysong was able to pick up a 6-1, 6-1 victory at the second position.
Leah Stoehr and
Katelynn Arnold also won their matches, each picking up their 10th wins of the season.
The win moved the Mounties to 10-2 on the season. They will conclude their regular season on Sunday, when they host Saint Vincent College.
