Ebensburg, PA- The Mount Aloysius Women's Tennis team won their first playoff game over La Roche College. The won the first 5 decisions of the match to finish the contest early.

The Mounties won all three doubles matches in dominating fashion. In the first pairing, Emily Goldyn and Chloe Love shut out their opponents 8-0. The second and third pairings both defeated their opponents 8-2.

In singles play, Love was the first to finish in the 2nd spot, winning 6-1, 6-0. Leah Stoehr was able to take the match clinching contest 6-1, 6-2 to end the match in the Mounties favor.

The Mounties record is now 11-2 on the year and they have advanced to the conference's final four, all which will take place in Erie, PA. They will take on #2 seeded Penn State Altoona starting at 5:00 PM at Westwood Tennis Center in Erie. Earlier this year, the Mounties lost a close match to Penn State Altoona by a score of 5-4.
