Cresson, PA- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team broke their two-game losing streak with a 3-2 come from behind victory over Juniata College on Tuesday evening.

The Mounties struck first in the 21st minute. Connor Pielmeier played a long ball to switch play to the opposite side. Pau Aran collected the pass, cut back and finished for his 5th goal of the season. The Mounties then relinquished 2 straight goals on a penalty kick and corner kick to fall behind at the half.

Mount Aloysius came out strong after halftime, tying the game in under 5 minutes. Ludvig Hegdal was able to rise above the defense and head home a corner kick for his 7th goal of the year. The Mounties completed the comeback in the 65th minute. Aran beat his man to the touch line and dribbled towards goal. He played a pass across the goal to Erik Johansson who finished with one touch for his 9th goal of the year. The assist was Aran's 8th of the season.

Freshman Tucker Hayes made his first start for the Mounties. He made 2 saves to pick up his first career win. 

The Mounties finish their regular season with a 14-3-1 record. They are the #3 seed in the AMCC Tournament and will host the #6 seed, LaRoche College on Saturday October 27th at 1 pm. Earlier this year, the Mounties defeated LaRoche 3-0.
