Cresson, PA- The Mount Aloysius Volleyball team continued their winning ways on Saturday as they defeated D'Youville College, 3 sets to 0.
The Mounties dominated the match, winning the first two sets by 13 points and the final by 6. They hit a combined .386 for the match with a high in the second game of .485. They finished the match with 46 kills on 101 attacks. They amassed 39 assists on those kills along with 11 service aces.
Individually, the Mounties were led by senior
Sarah Fisher. Fisher finished with 18 kills on only 24 attacks with 1 error. This was good enough to give her a .708 hitting percentage for the match.
Machala Gibbons chipped in multiple ways, tallying 13 kills and 11 digs.
Jessica Bressler finished with 28 assists and
Kylee Clawson had 22 digs and 4 service aces. Freshman
Ashlee Parrish also chipped in with 3 service aces.
The Mounties (10-8, 4-0) will host Penn State Altoona in its annual Pink Out game on Tuesday October 2nd.
