Cresson, PA- The Mount Aloysius Volleyball team held their annual Pink Out Game on Tuesday, raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness. The Mounties took on local rival Penn State Altoona, and were able to come out with a 3 sets to 0 victory.
The Mounties hit .312 for the match while holding their opponents to a .155 percentage. They finished with 26 assists on 47 kills, 5 blocks and 67 digs.
Sarah Fisher led the offensive effort again, finishing with 19 kills on 34 swings. she was also a part of 3 of the Mounties 5 blocks.
Jessica Bressler compiled 16 assists while
Emma Pevarnik added 10. Pevarnik also had 4 kills on 9 swings, good for a .333 hitting percentage.
Kylee Clawson had 30 digs in the 3 set match while
Machala Gibbons added 15.
The Mounties (11-8, 5-0) will take their 6 game win streak on the road, as they travel to Pittsburgh to take on Chatham in non-conference action on Wednesday.
