Mounties Take Their Lumps at Lebanon Valley

Annville, PA -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Basketball team traveled to Lebanon Valley on Saturday and Sunday, as they competed in the Rinso Marquette Tournament. They played, host, Lebanon Valley on Saturday and finished up the weekend with a matchup against Salisbury.

GAME 1 Highlights
- The Mounties held the Flying Dutchmen to 30% shooting for the game. They also limited them to four, three pointers and a 21% Three-Point Percentage.
- Mount Aloysius also forced 17 LVC turnovers in the game. Machala Gibbons (Cairnbrook, PA, Bishop McCort) registered four steals and Ryanna Hockenos (Ashville, PA, Penn Cambria) added three.
- Gibbons also added nine points and seven rebounds.
- Rachel Robinson (Leola, PA, Conestoga Valley) led the Mounties with 12 points, with half of them via the free throw line.

GAME 2 Highlights
- Mount Aloysius struggled from the field as they only shot 23% for the game.
- Robinson and Hannah Kitko (Houtzdale, PA, Moshannon Valley) scored the most for the Mounties, as both finished with nine points.
- The impact of Robinson was also felt on defense, as she picked up three blocks and three steals.
- Gibbons had a team-high five assists.

All-Tournament Team
Rachel Robinson was named a member of the Rinso Marquette All-Tournament Team. She tallied 21 points for the weekend, as she led the Mounties in scoring.

The Mounties will return to action on Saturday, when they travel to take on Lancaster Bible.
