READING -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team traveled to Albright College on Wednesday night. They were able to get back in the win column, with a 1-0 victory over the Lions.

Luis Miravitlles (Barcelona, Spain, Oak House British School) scored his first career goal on a header in the 34th minute of the game, after a corner kick from
James Maddison (Trimdon, England, Moulton College). The goal by Miravitlles gave the Mounties a lead they would not relinquish.
Prior to the goal, the Mounties peppered Albright goalkeeper, Billy Mullen, as he made six saves in the first 33 minutes of the game. Mullen had an impressive statline in goal, as he stopped 15 of the 16 shots that he faced.

James Eyre (West Bilney, England, Nicholas Hamond Academy) made two of his four saves, as he earned the win in goal. Mount Aloysius put eight more shots on goal in the half, but were unable to find the back of the net.
The Mounties' win was their fifth of the season. In all of their wins, they have outshot their opponents, while in each of their losses, they have been outshot themselves.
Mount Aloysius returns to action on Saturday, when they host Pitt-Bradford in their first AMCC home game of the season. Pitt-Bradford enters the weekend 1-0 in AMCC play after the defeated Pitt-Greensburg, 5-0, this past weekend. The Mounties have won six consecutive games against the Panthers, dating back to the 2013 campaign.
