Greensburg, PA -- The cold front coming in reached the Mount Aloysius Women's Basketball team a day early on Wednesday night. They lost to Pitt-Greensburg, behind 26% shooting from the floor.

Zoé Harding (Garrett, PA, Berlin-Brothersvalley) led the Mounties in scoring with 10 points off the bench in 20 minutes of action.

Lea Sammarco (Patton, PA, Bishop Carroll) led the team in rebounding with five.

Ryanna Hockenos (Ashville, PA, Penn Cambria) notched a game-high and career-high with five blocked shots.
- Nadege Durand led all scorers with 18 points for UPG. Shaquoia McCray finished the game with double-double, with 10 points and 15 rebounds.
How It Happened
- Midway through the first quarter, a Harding layup tied the score at four. The Bobcats went on a 14-0 run to finish the quarter.
- The second quarter would not get much better for Mount Aloysius, as they continued to struggle finding the basket, and were outscored 23-6.
- While the Mounties started to get into the score column during the second half, shooting 33%, the Bobcats had their best shooting quarter, going 8-15.
- The Bobcats outshot the Mounties in the final period, by taking 17 shots compared to the seven Mount Aloysius attempts.
Into the Box Score
- UPG grabbed 21 offensive rebounds compared to one for the Mounties, as they outrebounded them by 29.
- The Bobcats also had four players in double figures, while the Mounties only had Harding.Â
Carly Stigers (Beaverdale, PA, Forest Hills) finished as the next highest scorer with eight.
