How it Happened
- After opening up the game with each team taking ceremonial 24-second shot clock violations, in honor of the late Kobe Bryant, the Mounties'Â

Julian Stover (Washington, DC, Richard Montgomery) knocked down a three for the Mounties, to trim the slim Redhawk lead to one, with just over 13 minutes to go in the half. La Roche would answer with five straight points.
- The lead slowly grew throughout the rest of the first half. A Kennedy Smith three point basket pushed the lead to 15, the biggest Redhawk lead of the half. Mount Aloysius would get a three from
Azim Hutson (Orlando, FL, Ocoee), right before the half, to head into the locker rooms down, 41-29.
- Mount Aloysius tried to cut into the La Roche lead in the second half, twice getting it into single digits. The first time, Stover made a layup to cut the lead to nine with just over 14 minutes remaining.
- La Roche was able to extend the lead back up to 14, before the Mounties clawed back again. For the second comeback attempt, Christian made a three with just over seven minutes remaining, giving La Roche a 59-51 lead.
- Over the final seven minutes, La Roche would outscore the Mounties 14-6, putting the final score at 73-57.
