Pittsburgh -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Basketball team traveled to La Roche on Wednesday night, to take on the AMCC-leading Redhawks. The visitors fell, 91-46.

Rachel Robinson (Leola, PA, Conestoga Valley) led the Mounties with 15 points. She also grabbed five rebounds and registered a team-high four steals.
- Freshman
Ryanna Hockenos (Ashville, PA, Penn Cambria) grabbed a team-high, six rebounds, in addition to scoring 13 points, on 6-10 shooting.
- Jenna Cole led the Redhawks with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Dasja Anderson grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds.
How it Happened
- The game was very even over the first five minutes of play.
Carly Stigers (Beaverdale, PA, Forest Hills) knocked down a pull-up jumper with about four minutes to play in the period, giving the Mounties an 11-9 lead.
- La Roche would respond with an 11-4 run, giving them a five-point lead after the first quarter.
- In the second quarter, the game started to get out of hand. La Roche shot 61% from the field and made four, three point field goals, in the second quarter. During that span, the Mounties only made three field goals.
- The third quarter saw much of the same as the second. Mount Aloysius was outscored 20-11 and shot 25% in the period.
- The final period was the finishing touch, as La Roche shot 60% from the field and outscored the Mounties 24-9.
Into the Box Score
- Mount Aloysius only had six of their nine players score in the game, with only two players in double figures.
- La Roche shot 55% for the game, compared to 27.9% shooting for the Mounties.
- Mount Aloysius was outrebounded 53-26, even though the Mounties grabbed eight offensive rebounds.

- Mount Aloysius returns home on Saturday to face the Pioneers of Alfred State. The Mounties lost their previous matchup with the Pioneers, in their first ever meeting.
