GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Volleyball team used a dominating performance on Tuesday night, to win their third straight game of the season. They beat Pitt-Greensburg in three sets.

Ashlee Parrish (Northern Cambria, PA, Northern Cambria) led the Mounties with seven kills and three service aces.

Hannah Atzeni (Sligo, PA, Union) dished out 12 assists.

Abigail Fletcher (Salem, VA, Glenvar) registered a game-high, 14 digs.
How It Happened
- The Bobcats jumped ahead first, as they used two service aces to get an 8-4 lead.
- Mount Aloysius responded with seven of the next eight points, to put them in the lead 13-10.Â
Kylie Wadsworth (Sidman, PA, Forest Hills) had two kills to get the run started.
- Still close, with the Mounties ahead 18-16, Mount Aloysius scored seven of the final nine points, to win the first set, 25-18.
- During the second set, Mount Aloysius only had two times that their server did not at least get a point. Every other time they got the serve back, they extended their lead. They led by as many as 10, before winning the set, 25-17.
- Pitt-Greensburg made an effort to get back in the game, in the third set, as they built a 9-6 lead.
- The Mounties used two aces by Parrish to help boost a six-point run. The run put the Mounties ahead for good as they scored 19 of the final 24 points, to win the match.

- The Mounties continue on an upswing with their hitting, as they again set a season-high, with .256.
- Mount Aloysius also held an advantage with 33 kills compared to the Bobcats' 19 kills.
- Surprisingly, Pitt-Greensburg had ten aces compared to only nine for Mount Aloysius.

- Mount Aloysius will play at home, for only the second time this season, on Saturday, when they host a double header with Alfred State.
- Alfred State is 12-1 on the season, including wins in their last eight. They beat Medaille, 3-0, on Tuesday.
