CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Volleyball team closed out the regular season, on Saturday, when they hosted Penn State Behrend. They dropped the match to the Lions, in straight sets.

Leaders
- Ashlee Parrish (Northern Cambria, PA, Northern Cambria) led the Mounties in Kills, Aces, and Digs.
- Hannah Atzeni (Sligo, PA, Union) dished out nine assists for the Mounties.

How It Happened
- Mount Aloysius started the match strong, scoring seven of the first nine points. They held a 9-4 lead before six straight points from the Lions gave them a 10-9 lead.
- Penn State Behrend gradually stretched their lead, leading by as many as five points, 20-15. The Mounties held strong but were unable to get the lead back, falling 25-21.
- Set number two did not go well for the Mounties. They only scored consecutive points on two occasions, dropping the set 25-10.
- The third set did not start well either, as the Mounties fell behind 11-2. The Lions kept the Mounties at a distance, winning the final set 25-13.

Into the Box Score
- Penn State Behrend held significant advantages in most categories. They had a 43-22 advantage in kills and also out hit the Mounties .376 to .122.
- During the second set, Penn State Behrend had 13 kills and no errors, for an impressive .619 hitting percentage.

- Mount Aloysius will still earn a berth to the AMCC Tournament, as the #6 seed. They will travel to nearby-Penn State Altoona, on Wednesday night.
