ARLINGTON, Va. -- On Wednesday, the Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team traveled to Long Bridge Park in Arlington, to take on Marymount in a non-conference matchup. They fell to the Saints, 3-2.

How It Happened
- Mount Aloysius got the scoring started first, as Snyder scored in the fourth minute of the game. The goal gave them a 1-0 lead.
- Marymount knotted the game at one, in the 15th minute. It was on their third shot of the half, by Carlos Varona.
- Neither team had a shot on goal for the rest of the half, but there was excitement. In the 41st minute, there would be three cards dealt out, including a second yellow card for
Tevin Beadle (Kingston, Jamaica, St. George's College), resulting in an ejection.
- Marymount came out strong in the second half, taking the first four shots. However, the Mounties scored the first goal of the half on a shot by Geiger. The shot put the Mounties back in the lead, 2-1.
- In the 75th minute, the Saints answered again, tying the game at two on a goal by Jared Williams.
- Less than ten minutes after their second goal, Marymount added the game-winner, taking a lead with just over seven minutes to play. Mount Aloysius got one more shot off but it was not successful.

- Marymount held an advantage in total shots, taking 17 compared to the 11 Mountie tries. Seven Saint shots were on goal while only three for the Mounties.
- The Saints also held an advantage in corner kicks, six to two.
- Mount Aloysius played a more physical game, as they committed 20 fouls and had nine cards. Marymount only had 10 fouls and three cards.
