CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team celebrated their senior student-athletes, on Saturday afternoon. They also produced a dominating 6-0 against Hilbert.

Jonathan Fernandez (Herndon, VA, Herndon) scored two goals, to lead the Mounties in scoring.

Colby Snyder (Hagerstown, MD, Washington County Technical) both had a goal and assist, giving them each three points.
- Hilbert goalkeeper, Logan Peck, had a game-high, 14 saves.Â
Tucker Hays (Watsontown, PA, Warrior Run) had one save for Mount Aloysius.
How It Happened
- Mount Aloysius struck first, just two and a half minutes into the game. Snyder got into the box and slipped a shot past the keeper, for his third goal of the season and a 1-0 lead.
- The Mounties would take 17 more shots in the first half, but none found the back of the net, as it was a 1-0 game heading into the break.
- While the Mounties continued to dominate the game with shots, Hilbert allowed an own goal, giving the Mounties their second score of the game.
- Fernandez scored the third goal of the game when he dribbled into the box, then kept his shot on the ground past the keeper. It was his second goal of the season.
- Back added the next goal, less than three minutes later, on a free kick from just outside the top of the box.

Enoch Wiredu (Harford County, Maryland, Harford Technical) scored on a header with a kick by Back into the box. It was his second goal of the year and put the Mounties up, 5-0.
- Less than two minutes after Wiredu's goal, Snyder found Fernandez with a pass, where he scored for the second time in the game. The goal was the team's sixth and final goal of the day.
Into the Box Score
- Mount Aloysius held a significant advantage in all categories. Most outstanding were the 33-1 advantage on overall shots and the 9-0 advantage in corner kick opportunities.
- The Mounties were also more physical, resulting in 20 fouls compared to only eight for Hilbert.
- Neither team received a caution in the 90 minutes of play.

- Mount Aloysius will welcome Pitt-Greensburg to Cresson, on Tuesday night. The game will start approximately 25 minutes after the Women's game finishes.
- Pitt-Greensburg is currently 4-7-1 on the season. They lost their last game, on Wednesday, 1-0 at Penn State Altoona.
