CRESSON, Pa. -- Although the Mount Aloysius men's basketball team fell to visiting Chatham University Saturday afternoon, 81-61,
Jason Coronado (Orlando, FL, Ocoee) led all scorers with 27 points as the Mounties kept battling.

- Coronado had a season-high 27 points, including three 3-pointers and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw line.

Scottie Porter (New London, CT, Lebanon (PA)) was also in double figures scoring 14 points, sinking 8-of-9 foul shots.

Enoch Quarcoo (Eastbourne, England) was all over the boards, grabbing 17 rebounds.
How It Happened
- Chatham opened the game with an 11-0 start before the Mounties got on the board with back-to-back jumpers from Coronado to make it 11-4.
- Chatham stretched the lead to 18 at about the 10 minute mark. However, Coronado connected on a three-pointer to cut the lead to 11 a few minutes later.
- The Cougars continued to hold the margin though, even increasing the score to 42-24 by the end of the half.
- In the beginning of the second half, the Mounties fought valiantly, trading baskets with the Cougars, with the lead decreasing to 15 at the 18 minute mark. Chatham would recover, utilizing strong shooting from behind-the-arc to expand the lead to 29.
- Towards the end of the game, Coronado and Porter would provide a lift to the Mounties as they closed the gap to 17. Chatham answered with another three-pointer - it finished with 13 on the day - for a final score of 81-61.
