BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Mount Aloysius men's basketball team's starting five all finished in double figures, but host Medaille College edged the Mounties, 85-80.

Enoch Quarcoo (Eastbourne, England) both earned double-doubles. Haggans had 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Quarcoo added 10 points and 10 rebounds.

How It Happened
- Medaille controlled the early part of the game, leading by double figures for the majority of the first half. However, the Mounties made a charge at the concluding part of the half. Down 40-28 at the two-minute mark, the Mounties reeled off eight unanswered points decreasing the Medaille lead to four at halftime, 40-36.
- In the second half, Medaille stretched the lead to 11 at the 17:22 mark. The Mounties would stay close and chip away at the difference, with Britt tying the game on a free throw with about 11 minutes remaining.
- Two minutes later, the Mounties earned their first lead of the game on a jumper by Jones to make the score 60-58. In the next five minutes, Medaille tied the game several times but the Mounties held on to the slight advantage.
- Although, Medaille took over the lead, 74-72, at the 3:06 mark. In the next minute, the Mounties responded due to the contributions of Britt, who made three free throws and connected on a three-pointer during that stretch. Mount Aloysius had a three-point lead at the 1:47 mark, 78-75.
- Medaille then replied with a 6-0 run to give them a three-point advantage with 37 seconds remaining. Medaille held on to the lead and secured it with free throw shooting as the time ran out, handing Mount Aloysius the loss, 85-80.
