- In the early stages of the second half, Westminster stretched the lead to 11. Mount Aloysius, however, recovered and cut the lead to just two points at the 18 minute mark. A minute later, the Mounties would take the lead for the first time since the first half on a three-pointer by Britt.
- Westminster recovered and took the slight lead with the Mounties staying close behind. The Mounties then went on a run that included three-pointers by Britt and Coronado, and an emphatic dunk by Quarcoo, to give the Mounties an eight-point lead, 66-58. The Mounties maintained the advantage until the final minute of the game.
- At the end of the game, Westminster's Daniel Ritter hit a go-ahead three-pointer to give Westminster a one-point edge.
