CRESSON, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Women's Volleyball team hosted Saint Vincent, for their delayed first home game of the 2021 season. They fell short in all three sets, losing 3-0.

How It Happened
- The Mounties fell behind early in the first set, as the Bearcats only committed two hitting errors. They were unable to overcome the run, as SVC won the set, 25-14.
- In the second set, the Mounties did not fair much better. While the Bearcats slowed their hitting attack, Mount Aloysius made more errors of their own. They combination of errors led to a 25-15 triumph for SVC in set two.
- While the Mounties would eventually fall in the third set, 25-20, they put together a better performance. They limited Saint Vincent to a .167 hitting percentage, seeing them make seven errors. Many points were taken to longer rallies, in addition to a closer overall set.

- Saint Vincent had almost double what Mount Aloysius had, in most categories. They held a 45-23 advantage in kills, a 7-2 advantage in service aces, and a 40-19 advantage in assists.
- Mount Aloysius hit a woeful .060 for the game, while the Bearcats hit at a .272 clip.
