BEAVER FALLS, Pa. -- On Wednesday, the Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team earned their third draw of the year, with a combination of a clutch goal and clutch saves.

Jesper Stensson (Helsingborg, Sweden, Filbornaskolan) scored his first goal of the season, making him the sixth Mountie with one goal on the season.

Luke Priestley (Edlesborough, England, Aylesbury Grammar School) had a game-high, eight saves, including some late-game heroics.
How It Happened
- Much of the first half was uneventful, but dominated by Geneva. There were only seven total shots in the first half, but five came from the Golden Tornadoes, and three of them had to be saved by Priestley. No goals were scored in the first half, leaving the score at 0-0.
- In the second half, Geneva continued to apply pressure, as they outshot the Mounties again over the first 30+ minutes. Mount Aloysius did get two shots on goal byÂ

- Geneva gained an advantage when they scored in the 80th minute, sliding one past Priestley, on a shot by Darren Main. The goal put the Mounties back against the wall, trailing 1-0, with only ten minutes remaining.
- The Mounties were able to make it interesting, as Stensson scored on a pass from Traynor, in the 86th minute, to knot the game at one.
- With the game heading to overtime, the Mounties looked to try and grab the victory, but were unable to get a great chance to score. Geneva, however, did get some chances in extra time, as Priestley had to make four saves over the final 25 minutes of the game.
- Priestley's saves included a ball that ricocheted off the cross bar and a diving one-handed save, but denying would-be goals. The saves preserved the draw for the Mounties, leaving the score at 1-1.
Into The Box Score
- Geneva dominated in the offensive end, as they got 19 shots, nine on goal, compared to only seven total shots by Mount Aloysius. The difference was consistent, as the Golden Tornadoes out-shot the Mounties in every period. They also had nearly twice as many corner kicks.
- Mount Aloysius did play more physical, as they committed nine more fouls and added two yellow cards to the box score.

- Mount Aloysius is scheduled to open up AMCC play, on Saturday, when they travel to Erie to play Penn State Behrend.
- Penn State Behrend improved to 3-3 on the season, as they beat Grove City, 2-0, earlier on Wednesday.
- The Mounties have lost to the Lions, each of the past five attempts. Their last win came in 2015, when they won 4-3 on penalty kicks, to win the AMCC Championship.
