ERIE, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team opened up the AMCC portion of their schedule, when they traveled to Erie to take on Penn State Behrend. They fell 2-0.

How It Happened

- Between the two teams, there were only seven shots taken in the first period. While Mount Aloysius'Â

- Mount Aloysius came out of the locker room strong to start the second half, taking two shot attempts that were both saved by the Lion keeper, in the first seven minutes.
- Each team created more scoring chances, but had trouble finding the back of the net, until the 74th minute. PSB got on the board with their first goal on a header that came from a corner kick. 1-0 Behrend.
- Just over two minutes later, the Lions scored their second goal of the game, giving them a two-goal cushion.

- The physicality of the game could also be seen in the box score, as the Lions had nine fouls to the Mounties' six, but the Mounties had four yellow cards compared to two Behrend cautions.
