CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team played host to Pitt-Bradford on Saturday, in their first AMCC home match of the season. They scored seven goals to propel them to the victory, 7-1.

Enoch Wiredu (Harford County, Maryland, Harford Technical) led the Mounties in points, as he registered a goal and an assist.

Luke Priestley (Edlesborough, England, Aylesbury Grammar School) led the Mounties, in goal, with six saves on the day.
How It Happened

Louis Vivier (Bordeaux, France, Lycée Gustave Eiffel) scored the first Mountie goal of the game, in the 14th minute, when he took a shot from the left side of the box and deposited it in the upper corner of the goal. The goal was Vivier's first career goal.

Brendan Geiger (Watsontown, PA, Warrior Run) would later add his first goal of his career, on a direct corner kick. He gave the Mounties a 2-0 lead.

Jonathan Fernandez (Herndon, VA, Herndon) scored his first goal of the season, with an impressive top corner shot from inside the box. 3-0 Mounties.

Logan Walerysiak (Johnstown, PA, Conemaugh Township) scored his second goal of the season, in the final minute of the period. He took a shot from inside the box and banked it off the cross bar over the line, giving Mount Aloysius a 4-0 lead, heading into the half.
- Wiredu scored his goal making the game 5-0, when he took a ball that was misplayed by the Bradford keeper and put it back past him.

Tevin Beadle (Kingston, Jamaica, St. George's College) outside the box for the sixth goal of the game. The goal was also Beadle's second goal of the season.
- Spencer Sklar got the Panthers on the board in the 68th minute, cutting the Mountie lead back to five.

Lachie Back (Gordon, Australia, St. Piux X College) pushed the lead back up to six goals, when he bent a free kick around the Panther wall, from just outside the box. His goal was also his second of the season, with his first goal also coming on a free kick.
- Neither team scored over the final 17-plus minutes, leaving the score at 7-1 for the final tally.
Into The Box Score
- The seven Mountie goals mark their highest total of the season. The last time they scored 7-plus goals was in a win at Pitt-Greensburg in 2019, when they won 8-0.
- Mount Aloysius had 14 shots on goal while Pitt-Bradford only attempted 16 total shots for the game, seven of the landing on goal. The Mounties held a big advantage in the first half, as they had a 14-4 edge in total shots.
