BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Mount Aloysius Women's Tennis team opened up their season, this weekend, with two AMCC matches. On Saturday, the played Pitt-Bradford and on Sunday they visited Medaille. They fell in both matches.
On Saturday, the Mounties lost a tightly contested match to the Panthers, 5-4.Â

Kierra Mountain each picked up two victories, as they teamed up to win at #1 Doubles and the top two singles spots, respectively. The Doubles tandem ofÂ

Kaylee McClain also won their match at #2 Doubles. However, they fell at #3 and #4 Singles. Mount Aloysius also fell in #3 Doubles and #6 Singles, due to forfeit.
On Sunday, Mount Aloysius fell without winning a single match. Mountain and Sines lost a tight match at #1 Doubles, 8-6, coming close to a point. Mountain also lost at #2 Singles in the tiebreaker set, 11-9.
They are set to get back on the court, this coming Saturday, when they host La Roche at the Ebensburg Tennis Center.
