PITTSBURGH -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team traveled to Pittsburgh on Tuesday night, to take on Carnegie Mellon University. The Mounties held strong, ending the game in a 1-1 draw.

Juan Camacho (Ibaque, Colombia, San Bonifacio de las Lanzas) scored the second goal of his career to score the Mounties' lone goal.

Luke Priestley (Edlesborough, England, Aylesbury Grammar School), had a game-high, six saves, over 110 minutes of action.
How It Happened
- Mount Aloysius got the first goal on the board in the 33rd minute of the game. Camacho scored on a shot to the upper left corner of the goal, after a pass from
Brendan Geiger (Watsontown, PA, Warrior Run). The goal gave the Mounties a 1-0 lead, which they would maintain heading into the halftime period.
- Carnegie Mellon was able to knot the score at one, on the first shot of the second period, in the 54th minute. The shot was one of nine in the half for the Tartans.
- In the final 25 minutes, there were three yellow cards dealt out between the teams, and Priestley made three of his six saves. Mount Aloysius did not attempt a shot in the second half.
- During the first overtime period, both teams got limited opportunities, as each got at least a shot, with Priestley saving the only shot on goal. They headed to the second OT period, still tied at one.
- Similar results came in the second extra period, with neither team putting any shots on target, leaving the final score, 1-1.
Into the Box Score
- Carnegie Mellon outshot Mount Aloysius, 18-7 over the course of the game, including a 12-3 advantage after halftime. They also had five more shots on goal.
- The Tartans also had the only five corner kicks of the game, with all five coming in the first half.
- Mount Aloysius did try to play physical, earning a 15-5 advantage on fouls.
