BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- In their second game of the season, the Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team matched up against SUNY Brockport, on Sunday. The game was the second game for the team in the Doug May Memorial Classic. They fell to the hosts, 2-0.

Luke Priestley (Edlesborough, England, Aylesbury Grammar School) was the game leader with seven saves. Ulitmately however, he was was saddled with the loss.

Juan Camacho (Ibaque, Colombia, San Bonifacio de las Lanzas) andÂ
Enoch Wiredu (Harford County, Maryland, Harford Technical) each attempted two shots. Both of Camacho's shots were on target, but saved.
How It Happened
- Brockport controlled most of the first half, as Mount Aloysius only attempted one shot in the period. Priestley saw seven shots in the half, saving the two he needed to. The Mounties had their first corner kick and/or shot, that came during the 30th minute. Neither team scored, sending the game to the half, 0-0.
- In the second half, the Mounties had the first two chances, both of which were denied over the first eight minutes.
- The Mounties fell behind in the 67th minute, when Brockport scored on a crossing pass to the front of the goal, giving them a 1-0 lead.
- Just four minutes later, Mount Aloysius committed a foul in the box, leading to a penalty kick opportunity for the Golden Eagles. Brockport would put the shot away, leaving them ahead, 2-0.
- Mount Aloysius could not recover from the deficit. They had a penalty kick that was saved by the Brockport keeper and only attempted two other shots over the final 20 minutes.

- Mount Aloysius was limited on scoring opportunities, having only attempted seven total shots. Six of their seven shots came in the second half.
- Brockport put pressure on the Mountie defense, in addition to having more shots, they also had nine corner kicks, compared to only five for the Mounties.
- Both teams played fairly clean, each limited the number of fouls and not picking up any cards in the contest.
