CRESSON, Pa. -- The crowd was treated to one acrobatic layup after another by guard
Mike Harris (Hampton, Va., Peninsula Catholic), who finished with a team-high 23 points, but Mount Aloysius was defeated by visiting Penn State Behrend 80-65 Saturday afternoon.

- Harris scored a season-high 23 points, including 7-of-9 from the free throw line.

How It Happened
- Both teams played strong defense at the beginning of the game with the score tied at just five after the first five minutes. After each team traded three-pointers, the Mounties went on a 7-0 run to give them a 15-8 margin.
- Behrend responded with 11 unanswered points to give them the lead, 19-15. Harris then got on a roll, scoring seven points, allowing the Mounties to regain the advantage, 22-19.
- The lead changed hands a couple times before Penn State Behrend earned a slight edge that they stretched to as much as five points at the one-minute mark. But Ayers closed the half with a jumper, so the Mounties finished the half down 36-33.
- Behrend opened the second half with a 9-2 run to increase their lead to double figures, 45-35. The Mounties responded with a jumper and free throw by Britt, limiting the difference to just seven points.
- However, Behrend quickly recovered and saw their lead again grow to double figures. Behrend maintained this advantage for the rest of the game with the Mounties unable to make a final push and ultimately falling 80-65.
