CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius men's soccer team scored two first half goals and held off visiting Penn State Altoona for a 2-1 victory on Tuesday evening.

How It Happened
- Mount Aloysius struck early, when Camacho placed a corner kick to Pletcher who found the goal for a 1-0 lead at the 6:26 mark. Beadle then connected on his fourth goal of the season about 33 minutes into the game, giving the Mounties a strong 2-0 lead.
- Penn State Altoona then replied with a goal about five minutes later, making the score 2-1 heading into halftime.
- Mount Aloysius had many good looks at goals in the second half, just could not get the ball past Alltoona's goalkeeper. Still, they controlled play and maintained their 2-1 advantage throughout the second period to earn the victory. The win moves their record to 2-0-1 in the conference and 4-7-2 overall.Â
