Beadle Scores Twice, Leads Mounties Past Pitt-Greensburg

GREENSBURG, Pa. -- Tevin Beadle (Kingston, Jamaica, St. George's College) scored twice to lead the Mount Aloysius men's soccer team past Pitt-Greensburg in the regular season finale on Tuesday afternoon at Ridilla Field.

- Beadle scored his team-high 10th and 11th goals of the season, one in the first period and the other in the second period.

How It Happened
- Beadle struck early, converting his first goal of the game in the thirteenth minute to give the Mounties an 1-0 lead. The Mounties controlled play the rest of the half, with additional shot opportunities and corner kick tries, but the game stayed at 1-0 heading into the second period.
- Mount Aloysius continued to attack in the second half, while holding Pitt-Greensburg to just one shot attempt in the half and two overall in the game. The Mounties added to their lead late in the game, in the 87th minute, when Beadle connected again to make it 2-0, which would be the final score.

- The Mounties had seven corner kicks compared to zero for Pitt-Greensburg.
