Camacho Hat-Trick Leads Mounties to First AMCC Win

BRADFORD, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Men's Soccer team traveled to Pitt-Bradford to take on the Panthers in an AMCC matchup. The Mounties cruised to a 7-0 victory.

Leaders
- Juan Camacho (Ibaque, Colombia / San Bonifacio de las Lanzas) led the Mounties, scoring three goals, bringing his season total to five.
- Louis Bez (Bordeaux, France / Lycée Sainte-Marie de la Bastide) added a goal and three assists, giving him five points on the day.

How It Happened
- Tevin Beadle (Kingston, Jamaica, St. George's College) started the Mounties off, scoring their first goal in the first minute of the game. They didn't stop there, as Camacho scored the next two goals in the first 20 minutes. After Bez assisted on the third goal, he added a goal of his own, giving the Mounties a 4-0 lead, with over 20 minutes left in the first half. Jonathan Fernandez (Herndon, VA, Herndon) added a fifth goal, in the final five minutes of the half, giving the Mounties a 5-0 lead heading into the break.
- Camacho and  scored the Mounties' two, second-half goals, within three minutes of each other, to give the Mounties a 7-0 lead. Camacho's goal was his third of the day, as he registered a hat-trick. Neither team scored during the rest of the game, giving the Mounties a 7-0 victory.

Into the Box Score
- Mount Aloysius held a huge shooting advantage, 33-3, for the game. While they attempted 15 shots on goal, they only allowed the Panthers to have one.
- The Mounties also had all five corner kicks in the game, giving them more scoring opportunities.

- Mount Aloysius will return home, to host Penn State Altoona, on Tuesday.
