CRESSON, Pa. -- A well-balanced scoring effort was not enough against visiting Pitt-Bradford, as the Mounties fell 85-71 Wednesday night.

Dwayne Jones (Philadelphia, PA, Greater Johnstown) recorded his fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 21 points and ten rebounds.

Imil Britt (Johnstown, PA, Greater Johnstown) scored 15 points, while
Enoch Quarcoo (Eastbourne, England) added 12 points, nine rebounds, and three assists.

Mike Harris (Hampton, Va., Peninsula Catholic) and
Jason Coronado (Orlando, FL, Ocoee) were the other Mounties in double figures, each contributing ten points. Harris also dished out a season-high seven assists.
How It Happened
- The Mounties started strong and were ahead 13-7 after the first five minutes. However, Pitt-Bradford replied with eight unanswered points to take over the lead, 15-13.
- During the middle segment of the half, Pitt-Bradford held the slight advantage with the Mounties tying the game multiple times but unable to regain the lead. Then, with about five minutes remaining, the Mounties went ahead on a layup by Harris to make it 32-31.
- Britt scored on the next two possessions to increase the margin to six points, 37-31. The Mounties maintained the advantage until the end of the half when Pitt-Bradford hit a layup to bring the score to 39-35.
- In the first couple minutes of the second half, the Mounties continued to play well, again leading by six points, 45-39. But Pitt-Bradford would even the game at the 16:41 mark, 46-46.
- The game would stay close over the next several minutes with multiple ties, yet the Mounties held the slight advantage at the 12 minute mark, 56-54. However, Pitt-Bradford earned the lead, 58-56, which they would hold on to for the rest of the game.
- Although the Mounties trailed, they were within one possession at the 8:11 mark, down 65-62. But Pitt-Bradford would gradually build the advantage during the latter stages of the half, even stretching the margin to double figures. Pitt-Bradford ultimately defeated the Mounties, 85-71.

- The Mounties finished with more assists than Pitt-Bradford, 16 to 15.
- Both teams had the same number of rebounds - 32.
- Mount Aloysius limited its turnovers to 13, compared to 14 for Pitt-Bradford.
