CRESSON, Pa. -- The Mount Aloysius Men's Volleyball team played host to Penn State Altoona, on Wednesday, in an AMCC meeting in the ACWC. The Lions bested the Mounties in consecutive sets.
Leaders
-Â led the Mounties with six kills and six digs.
-Â had a team-high, 13 assists.
-Â registered three blocks.
How It Happened
- Penn State Altoona jumped ahead early, 6-1, and never looked back. They put together seven different multi-point runs to put the Mounties behind, 1-0.
- Set number two was similar as the Lions scored seven of the first eight, en route to a 25-12 victory.
- In the third set, Mount Aloysius played tough, leading late, 18-17. However, the Lions scored eight of the final nine points, downing the Mounties 25-19.
Into the Box Score
- Penn State Altoona committed only three hitting errors in the first two sets, hitting .500 and .467, while the Mounties struggled and hit -.096 for the game, committing 24 errors.
- The Lions also held a major advantage in the serving category, as they had seven aces, compared to only one Mountie ace.

- Mount Aloysius will travel to Hilbert, on Saturday, for another AMCC Tri-Match. They will play both Hilbert and Geneva.
