WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- On Saturday, the Mount Aloysius Lacrosse team opened their season, on the road at Lycoming. They fell to to Warriors, 17-5.

How It Happened
- Lycoming jumped out to an early lead, scoring the first six goals of the game. Waite scored the first Mountie goal with 5:35 left in the first quarter, following a successful clear attempt.
- Lanier scored her goal, to make the score 7-2 in favor of Lycoming. The goal came off a free position shot. It was her first career goal as a Mountie.
- After heading into the second quarter with a 9-2 lead, the Warriors scored the first four goals of the period, going ahead 13-2. Figinski scored the final goal of the half, on an assist from Lanier, to cut the score to 13-3 heading into the break.
- The third quarter saw a two-to-one advantage, in favor of Lycoming. Waite scored her second goal of the day, with two seconds remaining in the period, from a free position.
- Waite scored the first goal of the final period, the final Mountie tally of the game, with just over 12 minutes remaining. Lycoming would score two more goals, making the final score, 17-5.

- Lycoming held a 29-16 advantage in shots for the game, with a 23-16 advantage in shots on goal.
- Mount Aloysius had a 50% clear rate, going 11-for-22, while the Warriors cleared nine of their 10 opportunities.
