MORRISVILLE, N.Y. -- The Mount Aloysius Lacrosse team traveled to New York to take on Morrisville State, falling to the Mustangs in a non-conference match-up 20-4.

How It Happened
- The Mounties opened with the first goal of the game as Figinski put one through inside two minutes of the first quarter. The Mustangs responded quickly, picking up five goals over the next three minutes of the quarter. Despite two goals from Figniski and stronger defense from Mount Aloysius, Morrisville State closed the high-scoring first quarter with a late goal, putting the home team up 6-3.Â
- The rest of the game proved to be an offensive sprint from the Mustangs, who saw a five goal run interrupted by an unassisted goal from Geissler, before closing the game on another 9-goal streak.Â

- Morrisville State gained the advantage on draw controls, getting 16 to the Mountie's 11. Both teams saw high rates of turnovers, with Mount Aloysius giving up 34 to the Mustang's 28.
