CRESSON, Pa. (Oct. 28, 2025) — The Mount Aloysius men's soccer team closed out the regular season with a 1-1 draw against Pitt.-Greensburg on Tuesday night at Kelly Field, setting up a rematch between the two sides in the opening round of the AMCC Tournament.
The Mounties (10-5-3, 4-1-3 AMCC) controlled much of the match, outshooting the Bobcats 24-4, but a late penalty kick denied them a victory.
Forward
Gonzalo Terricabris (Catalonia, Spain, Garbi Pere Verges) put Mount Aloysius in front in the 61st minute, converting a penalty kick for his tenth goal of the season. Pitt.-Greensburg (7-6-5, 4-2-2) answered with a penalty of its own in the 88th minute, as the Bobcats buried the equalizer.
Mount Aloysius generated nine shots on goal and three second-half corner kicks, but the Bobcats' defense held firm to preserve the tie.
With the result, the Mounties finish the regular season as the No. 4 seed in the AMCC Tournament and will host Pitt.-Greensburg once again on Saturday in the first round. Game time is still to be determined.
