LATROBE, Pa. - The Mount Aloysius Women's Lacrosse team (0-2) traveled to Latrobe to face the Saint Vincent Bearcats (1-1). The Mounties would look to bounce back from their season opening defeat against Franciscan.

However, it was not meant to be for the Mounties. Although they outshot the Bearcats 30 to 23 over the course of the game, they could not make the most of their opportunities and lost 12-11.

The goal scorers for the Mounties were: Sara Borlie (Kennett Square, Pa. / Unionville), Hanna Geissler (Irwin, Pa. / Norwin), and Clara Larios-Soto (Laurel, Md. / Laurel) with one each, Amanda Price (Columbia, Pa. / Hempfield) with two, and Cassidy Cook (Glen Burnie, Md. / North County) and Brenna Dobson (Lewistown, Pa., Mifflin County), each with three.

Mount Aloysius will take on Thiel this Saturday, March 1st, in their home opener. Thiel enters the game 0-0 with the Mount being their first game of the season.
