Cresson, Pa. - The Mount Aloysius women's lacrosse team (5-6) would return home to face the Cedar Crest Falcons (5-6) in a makeup game, on Thursday. The Falcons would put up a fight, but the Mountie offense would prove to be too much as Mount Aloysius cruised to a 15-7 victory.
The Mounties would start the game out hot, scoring three times in the first two minutes to take a 3-0 lead. However, the Falcons would punch back, scoring twice in quick succession to make the game 4-2. This would incite the Mounties, who would then score three goals in the first and second quarter to make the game 7-2.
In the second half, the game would be more open, with the Mounties and Falcons exchanging goals to make the score 12-6 going into the 4th quarter. Once in the fourth quarter, the Mounties would score three goals to close out the game with a 15-7 victory.
Goalkeeper Kendall Cramer (Canonsburg, Pa. / Canon-McMillan) would stand tall, making eight saves, including three on free position shots. The Mounties would muster 44 shots, 22 of which were on goal.
Clara Larios-Soto (Laurel, Md. / Laurel) would score her 50th career goal in the victory.

Women's lacrosse returns to conference play to face the Hilbert Hawks (1-8, 0-4 AMCC) on Saturday, April 19th. The game will be the Mounties' Senior game. The Hawks enter the contest off the back of a 17-3 loss against La Roche.
