Men's Soccer Falls to Lycoming, 3-1

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - The Mount Aloysius men's soccer team fell to Lycoming College, 3-1, Wednesday night at UPMC Field.

The Mounties wasted little time getting on the scoreboard, as Gonzalo Terricabris (Catalonia, Spain, Garbi Pere Verges) found the back of the net just 1:21 into the contest. Terricabris' fifth goal of the season came off an assist from Zack Marshfield (Stroud, England, Stroud High Sixth Form), giving Mount Aloysius an early 1-0 advantage.

Lycoming responded in the 18th minute when Connor Hussman scored to even the match at 1-1. The two teams remained tied through the remainder of the opening half, sending the game into halftime knotted at one goal apiece.

The Warriors took their first lead of the night early in the second half. Leandro Cruz scored in the 54th minute to put Lycoming ahead, 2-1.

Lycoming added another goal in the 64th minute when Dylan Seigel found the back of the net off an assist from Max Kocher, extending the Warriors' advantage to 3-1.

The Mounties were unable to find another goal in the final 26 minutes, as Lycoming held on for the 3-1 victory.

Terricabris' goal gives him five on the season, while Marshfield recorded his third assist of the campaign.

With the loss, Mount Aloysius falls to 1-3-2 on the 2026 season.

The Mounties return home Saturday afternoon when they host Penn State Abington (0-4-2). Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Kelly Field.
